From what I am seeing on the official website, you will have to log-in using the form available on that page to be able to access your member's area and download additional updates for emSigner because they're not available for the public users. I've checked every section on the website and no details about updates were posted, therefore I can't confirm or deny if you have to upgrade. Better check with the developers to see exactly what needs to be done.
